Jacqueline Smith Hi Everyone, here is the one and only picture of myself, I hate having  my picture taken. I hail from Edmonton, Alberta where  I'm a Horticulturist and run a business with my Dad. Which gave me the flexibility to be at home, when my son got home from school. I'm a single mom who has a 17 year old son and a loveable yellow lab that my late husband gave me for Mother's day 5 years ago because he forgot it was Mother's Day. I started scrapbooking/cardmaking 11 years ago when my son was quite small. I love the creative outlet it has given me to make cards or to scrapbook the perfect photo. I put my heart into every detail of the cards I create, which varies from unique cards that have a simplicity to the, to more elaborate cards that are engaging and detailed. I have this obsession about having to be on top of the latest gadgets that hit the market when the CHA comes out twice a year. So I have quite the collection of dies, stamps, inks, markers and paper which helps me come up with the most meticulous card or scrapbook page. I'm certified in Copic Markers Level 1 & 2 but I do love my Prismacolor pencils, Lyra pencils and Dewalt Intense Watercolor pencils. I never have done digital stamps until now, but found that it gives me a reason to get out my pencils to colour. I started blogging in November 2010, because I  wanted to enter challenges to make me a better cardmaker. Then I decided I wanted to be on Design Teams to show case my work, after lots of rejections I'm now on 5 Design Teams; Cornish Heritage Farms, Cardabilities, Stamping Dragon Designs, Loves Rubberstamps and of Course Digi Darla's. I'm really excited to be part of Digi Darla's Design Team and looking forward to working with all the amazing, talented designers!
