A Note From Karen:
Hello Stamping Friends!! So sorry we missed you last week but we are back with a new challenge, a sponsor, some super cute new releases and more!!! First off, before we get started on this weeks newsletter, I want to personally thank Kim for everything she has done for me. When I applied for her DT back in June (I think? Seems like forever) I was so excited to be one of her chosen DT members. I had hardly dabbled in digital, but I made the team. Since then, Kim and I have become fast and amazing friends. When I spoke to her about starting up a new challenge blog for her, she told me to go for it and let me take the reins. I've become her newsletter editor and so much more. Not to mention her support when I talk to her about new things I'd like to try. Sometimes you're lucky enough to find an online friend who becomes someone that you can see yourself meeting one day and chatting the day away - I think Kim and I could chat a week away!! So with all that being said - Kim, thank you for everything, I truly appreciate it.
(addition by Kim: Wow! How sweet you are, Karen! I don't deserve such kind and wonderful words....and I am at a loss for words to say other than I am the lucky one! Thank you!)
This Week's Featured Artist:
This week I wanted to feature a friend of mine. She's actually on my Lasting Memories DT and super talented. I'd like to introduce you to Suzanne - Cricut Craftin' Grammy - Here's a little bio: I have been crafting since in my teens ( a long time ago) and bought my first Cricut almost 1 1/2 years ago. I have become totally addicted to using my Cricut to make cards, decor and especially scrapbook pages. I belong to the Cricut Circle and love to learn from all the ladies on the Messageboards and other blogs. I have started this blog as a record of the projects I make. Besides paper crafts I love to work on weddings, holiday decor and in the past few months I have taken cake decorating classes and am learning to use my Cricut Cake Machine. I have been blessed this past year with two beautiful precious granddaughters who are the joy of my life. I recently retired after teaching 33 years to enjoy being a grammy and to give me time for my crafting obsession.Suzanne did a tutorial that was actually featured on another blog and I was so intrigued by it that I had to share it with you!! She created a wreath and it's just stunning. Here is her excellent photo tutorial on how to make her "Rose Valentine Wreath" Please be sure to leave her a comment and let her know you stopped by - she'll be tickled pink!
Stay tuned for a change coming in our "Featured Artist" section starting next week!!
