A Very Merry Christmas from all of us here at the Digital Stamp Club!
The holidays are nearly upon us and I sincerely hope you have managed to stay safe and out of the Mad House! People do some crazy things this time of year, don't they?
I must say that online stores are my favorite way to shop these days!
The pre-opening sale is all Christmas stamps for only 1 Dollar ($1) and all sentiments for any occassion are marked for only a Penny ($.01)!
Stock up on your favorites for next year because most of them will not be $1 ever again! And certainly the sentiments won't be a penny!
I sure hope you will drop in for a quick visit and let me know what you think...The holidays will soon be over and you will have some down time....PERFECT time for creating cards and gifts with digis! Coloring images sure help me de-stress!
Baking is another favorite thing of mine...which is part of the latest challenge over at www.DigiDarla.com . Post pics of your holiday baked goodies and you could win free digis (of course, you can enter a card, too! hehe)

Hello friends!! I hope everyone has made it through all the hustle and bustle of the holidays. We're almost there and then we can all relax! I have to tell you - I am SOO proud of my hubby. We had last minute gifts to get and do you know, that man came with me to the MALL on SATURDAY??? I tell ya, if that isn't love, I don't know what is!! Like most men (likely even ALL) he is not a fan of the mall, let alone this time of the year. I'm excited for Christmas Day to arrive and then we'll see the smiles on our children's faces and enjoy watching them open their gifts. Do you have any last minute crafter's to buy for?? Be sure to check out our store for some FAB digi's that would make AWESOME gifts!!!! I'd like to take this time, since this will be our last newsletter before Christmas to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and most importantly, a safe and happy holiday!!!

Oh my goodness, if you are looking for some inspiration, you HAVE to visit Penny's blog!! I have never came across her blog, but when Kim said we were going to feature her, I had to have a little visit and I am in COMPLETE awe!! Penny has created an amazing tutorial for you this week. Here's a little teaser to get your curiosity even more aroused!!!
"Winter Scene Digi Card
I took the image and brought it into Inkscape...resized to the size I desired for my project. I then duplicated the image....imported in my registration marks.....then traced over the parts of the image I wanted to cut out with my Black Cat Lynx Cutter... "Sable".........Once I had the areas drawn out I closed the layer to cut out and then printed off the images with the registration marks on the paper......
BEFORE I cut out I decided to go ahead and color my piece.....to color this I chose to use watercolor pencils and the edges I distressed with my Zutter Distressing tool as well as Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Pumice Stone.....Once I had the coloring completed I placed on my cutting mat and then did the print and cut technique with my "Sable" with Signcut software.....you'll notice the pieces I cut out were 2 of the houses and a tree....I just wanted to give the card a little pop....."
Now, come on over here for a visit to see the pictures of this gorgeous creation and just how she did this card!! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! HUGE thank you to Penny for this tutorial!!

To be considered for selection on the DigDarla (DSC) Design Team, please decide if you are able to fulfill the following qualifications:
- Visit the blogs of your fellow DT members to cheer them on.
- Make a weekly card wit a DigiDarla image to post on your private blog. The DT members need to join in a challenge every other week but on the week you are off, you must still post a card using whatever theme you like.
- Visit the Challenge Blog from time to time to view new entries and leave comments.
- Be willing to post a project tutorial once a month if asked.
- Have fun!
