Digital Card Tutorial Robot Ice Cube Christmas Card
Denise Pustelniak
Printer-Friendly Format

A Really "Cool" Tutorial by Denise:

"How do you like my robot ice cube sculpture?

I chose two self portraits from DIGI DARLA'S digis and put them in a square punch behind an overlay after I changed it to blue.

I also chose a DIGI DARLA digi of Santa's hat, I put it in WORD, in the tool bar, chose FORMAT PICTURE, then you get another set of options...choose BACKGROUND REMOVAL.  One of the options is change color...I chose red!

Now your digi is a PNG instead of a JPEG. Save it to your computer as a photo file.  I put it in My Digital Software from STAMPIN' UP as a photo.

My background was plain CS and I did what I think looks like dry embossing.  I choose the snowflake I liked, made it the same color as the CS and I drop- shadowed it to 100%.

I'm working on a MAC and WINDOWS appears different, so you need to work with it a little.  Jiggle the handle! LOL."
