Hi! I'm Tiffany, owner of TiffanyDoodles.
My background is web design, graphic design & photography. I have been self employed for nine years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my work! Since childhood, I've always been creative and taken great pleasure in drawing and painting. In 2009, I discovered the stamping and paper crafting world and just fell in love!! In a very short order, I began transforming some of my drawings and doodles into "digis". It has truly been a joy to share them with folks. I get so thrilled every time I see something new that someone has created with one of my stamps!! Each design is like a child of mine and it's really neat to see it all grown up and out in the world being all it can be... LOL! All of my digital stamps are originally created by me and of the multiple styles I offer, most are hand-drawn images. Some are brushed up in Photoshop using the pen tool to produce very clean lines and others are left with a sketchy, rustic, hand-drawn look. An additional digi-style is one that I've dubbed as PhotoSketches and these are images from my photographs which I transformed into sketches with a little help from Photoshop. These beauties make splendid realistic images for stamping! One of the ways that I wish to say "thank you" to all of the folks that follow Tiffany Doodles is by offering a brand new Freebie every Thursday.
Karen recently had the opportunity to do a brief interview with Tiffany from the super cool digital stamp company Tiffany Doodles.
Hi Tiffany! Thank you for joining us as our Featured Artist this week!! We were wondering, what inspired you to design digital images and how long have you been designing them? I have been designing digital stamps for almost two years. I have always been artistic and have enjoyed drawing and painting my whole life.
I see that you are a photographer as well, do you take inspiration from your photo's to create your images? Have you been a photographer for a long time?
I have enjoyed photography for many years. I especially love nature photography and have found lots of inspiration for stamps when I take photos.
On top of creating digital images and your photography, do you have other hobbies as well? Aside from designing digital stamps and photography I really enjoy any kind of paper-crafting, I enjoy watercolor and acrylic painting. Hand embroidery. And I'm totally addicted to pinterest.
If there was one really important thing you would like our readers to know about you, what would it be? I would want your readers to know that I'm a very friendly and giving person, that is why I offer one new freebie digi every Thursday! And that I appreciate them so much! If they ever have any questions or help about digs or any of my products I'm always just an email away.
You have created so many images, which include such a great variety – is there a certain one that has really touched your heart or was inspired by someone or something very important to you? If I have one set of stamps that mean a lot to me it would be a couple from my series called "Granny's Garden". The pear blossoms and cherry blossoms ( on these links you will see the photos as well as the matching stamps) are very special to me and these were actually inspired by some of my photography from last spring. These two trees grow right next to the old chicken yard. We would pick the fruit from the pear tree and Granny would make pear tarts for us! When the cherry blossoms would bloom every spring Granny would pick a few buds and put them in a sweet little milk glass vase and set them in the middle of the supper table! I had the best Granny in the world!
Thanks for taking the time for the intreview, Tiffany!
